The Trump Administration's Response to Covid-19
In my opinion the Trump administration's response to coronavirus has been lackluster to say the least. While the response has picked up as of late (posted as of 3/22/2020), it is still not nearly as large or as comprehensive as it should be. It didn't start well either. Here is a timeline of events as well as my opinion on them: Timeline November 17th, 2019 - First case of coronavirus discovered Too soon for any action from any government December 31st, 2019 - The coronavirus starts to spread Chinese government response, too soon for any other government January 11th, 2020 - First confirmed fatality As of now, it was unknown that human to human transmission was possible, so no response January 21st, 2020 - First case of coronavirus in the United States The Trump administration should have started some sort of response, however small, after this.
